Change starts with education and happiness starts with community

We noticed that many people are willing to help those suffering from mental health and their families but don't due to a lack of awareness on how to go about helping; people fear that they might say or do something wrong. It is for this reason we believed in starting educational programs with Healing Hearts in order to educate the local community of Waukesha about ways to console and detect those suffering from mental illness. Additionally Healing Hearts holds a retreat for their grief-support program participants. This retreat is comforting for the families as many haven't gone to an outing as a family in a while. We decided to help fund this outing to allow for some normality in the families facing mental health challenges and to ultimately reinstate happiness and peace of mind in those families.
